Environmental Impact

Mycelium is incredibly sustainable. The compound we used from Ecovative was created using agricultural waste from regional farmers. The mycelium is grown with little to no negative impact on the environment.

Efficiency

Growing mycelium can be done at home. The compound grown for our project used nothing more than a few cups of water and some flour.

Life Cycle

The mycelium is grown in a compound of agricultural waste. After it is grown and dried it can be used as intended. Once the mycelium breaks down or is no longer needed ,the mycelium can be composted and the circuit, if not too damaged, can be reused in another tile.
